Congratulations Daeshin Kim you're the featured Infinity author of the week!

Daeshin Kim's book A Horse with Wings has had great success with children and adults a like. A Horse with Wings has also been featured (with an interview too!) in the July 2013 issue of L.A. Parent, "L.A.'s go-to source for all things parenting!"

In March, Daeshin Kim had a live interview on KCAL9 News / CBS, speaking all about A Horse with Wings and his company Kinderbard that will be sure to peak your interest (and have you fall in love with Kim's young, adorable daughter, Sherman).

A Horse With Wings is a book composed and illustrated by Daeshin Kim and Sohyun An Kim respectively, a dynamite husband and wife team fueled by talent and love.

The book contains sixteen original songs and pictures for children, but here's the twist: each nursery rhyme is 'sung by' a character from Shakespeare. An innovative way to teach children about Shakespeare, they can learn with Juliet about "what's in a name" and empathize with Hamlet as he sings about the loss of his dear friend Yorrick. As well, each song also addresses a specific social issue with which children can identify and understand including envy and jealousy, bullying or a silly song about the smelliest dog in the world! The book is family composed and Daeshin Kim even has his young daughter singing some of the songs.

Daeshin Kim is a writer, musician, teacher, father and self proclaimed Shakespeare geek as well as the founder of KinderBard. Equally passionate about the famous bard and educating, Daeshin Kim has and continues to participate in a variety of teaching opportunities, sharing his excitement and experience in the land of Shakespeare.

From June 24-26, 2013, Folger Shakespeare Library is hosting a conference on Teaching Shakespeare in the Elementary Classroom. The conference allows for educators from all over to connect with one another for three days of interactive workshops, discussions and activities for bringing Shakespeare to life in elementary classrooms. On the 25th is when Daeshin Kim will be leading a session on teaching Shakespeare to K-3rd graders in a way that is both fun and reaffirming. With a book signing to follow after the session, the conference poses to be an exciting and eye opening experience.

An exciting piece of news regarding our famed author, Daeshin Kim has announced that he has started work on Volume 2 of A Horse with Wings! Daeshin has made it clear that the second book and CD will contain songs sung by more of some Shakespearean favorites, and the songs will be sung by stars of the stage and the screen! We (along with many devoted and loyal fans) cannot wait for the completion of what is expected to be a great Volume 2. Keep up the great work Daeshin!
